SEASON OPENER FALL CONCERT
We are starting off our season with a bang at Carver High School! This concert will feature YOGC musicians from our String Orchestra, Youth Symphonic Orchestra, and chamber ensembles and will be conducted by YOGC’s long-standing Music Director and Conductor, Jim Palmer, as well as our new Associate Conductor, Jaris Tobler. This is a family-friendly event, so bring your crew & enjoy the sounds of our amazing students, full of excellence and fun!
SIDE BY SIDE CONCERT
FEATURING SCHWOB PHILHARMONIC & METROPOLITAN YOUTH SYMPHONY OF ATLANTA
After a full day of master classes, rehearsals, and learning opportunities, Schwob School of Music will host a Side-By-Side concert featuring our Youth Symphonic Orchestra and the Metropolitan Youth Symphony of Atlanta (MYSO) students.
The YOGC Symphonic Orchestra will perform Saint Saen's Symphony No. 3, featuring Ken Bailey on the G. Gunby Jordan Pipe Organ, and Dvorak's Slavonic Dance No. 8. Additionally, the MYSO will perform alongside OKCello, the Atlanta-based cellist-composer, looper, improviser, and storyteller.
CHAMBER RECITAL
Love listening to smaller, more intimate groups of musicians? This is the perfect concert for you! Our talented and hand-selected chamber ensembles will be performing multiple works at this event, featuring string quartets, a woodwind and brass ensembles, and even our percussion ensemble!

SPRING CONCERT:
"Season Finale"
We are capping off our season with a fantastic concert at the famous Bill Heard Theater at the RiverCenter for Performing Arts!
Join us as we invite guest artists Ruslan & Ina Apostolov of the Koart Academy and the Columbus Ballet to perform with our Symphonic Orchestra! You'll also enjoy performances from our String Orchestra and various chamber ensembles.
Also happening is our second annual Silent Auction, which will take place during intermission and a celebration honoring our graduating seniors.
